Not the first steps, but the first project where we needed to come up with a name.

Belka Studio, the company was named in honor of the heroic squirrel named Strelka, who was the first to fly into space.

The first clients were schools and kindergartens; we found a great niche and designed bright, positive children's websites.

Over time, opening new stores turned into a hobby. It was hard to resist getting a couple or three for ourselves.

We established two main rules that we strive to convey to our clients:

• Without design and a well-thought-out user-friendly structure, a website works, but with significantly lower conversion.
• Without advertising, a website is nominal.

Now we give advice not only on website creation and not only to aspiring entrepreneurs, because it is based on our own mistakes and successes.

We were often asked to recommend someone, but we couldn't do it: a huge number of companies in the advertising field are on a conveyor belt; they have no interest in the client's success.

We started to delve into contextual advertising ourselves first, and then into the intricacies of SEO, to be able to help clients not only with design and development.

We are endlessly happy for new clients and acquaintances, but there are companies with whom we started together and have come a long way. These companies convinced us that we were on the right path, and the people we met shaped our approach to work.

It started with an innocent hobby of printing pictures on canvas.

Then we bought a plotter. Then a line in an offset printing house, plus we acquired the capability to print on clothing.

We changed the name to Belka Project.

Before meeting Moguta, we didn't take on online stores. Moguta is the developer and the company that became our reliable partner.

Now online stores make up a large part of our clients.

And we are top developers on this CMS.

The first large-scale investment.

Overall, we didn't like it, but we really wanted to try it.

Around this stage, we clearly formulated our development concept - to remain a boutique story, to grow in level, not in the flow of clients.

After a series of successful acquaintances and interviews, we gained recognition.

Completed several large projects.

A rare example where, after years in the business, you still get surprised by something, but augmented reality knows how to surprise.

And we were drawn offline again; we opened a yoga studio in a business-class neighborhood.

The idea paid off; we turned a profit right after the quarantine was lifted.

Our clients grew, and the number of inquiries increased, so we set off to learn new technologies.

Yes, all these years we were almost without our own website.

Perhaps it's not even finished now, but there is no goal, there is only the path.
